A Message from Jason Singh: The Voice of Taxiride
To the fans who have been with us since the beginning:
Since 1999, the music of Taxiride has been the heartbeat of my career. From the early days of Imaginate to the deep creative dive of Garage Mahal—an album I am incredibly proud to have co-written and fronted—my goal has always been to deliver the songs you love with the passion they deserve.
Over the last 25 years, the lineup of Taxiride has seen many seasons. There were years when I worked to keep the name alive while others pursued different paths, and there was the rewarding challenge in 2015 of bringing the original four-piece back together to celebrate our history.
Recently, you may have noticed changes in how the Taxiride name is being used. Following a successful legal resolution regarding our trademark in 2024, there are now two ways to experience this music:
TAXIRIDE featuring Jason Singh: The original voice of the hits, continuing the legacy I’ve championed for over two decades.
TTSAR: A separate touring entity featuring other former members.
While I cannot control how others choose to frame our history on social media, I can promise you this: I will always be honest about our journey. I have dedicated my life to the goodwill of this brand—from the world tours of the early 2000s to the 25th-anniversary of Imaginate and soon Garage Mahal.
The history of Taxiride isn't found in a Facebook post; it’s found in the songs, the voice, and the memories we’ve made together at every show since 1999. My focus is entirely on the future, the music, and most importantly, you.
